"Finally, I asked him, 'When your coaching career is done, do you want to be known as a Bear Bryant or a Don Shula?’ Without batting an eye, Saban said, 'Bear Bryant.' I said, 'Then you ought to stay in college.' Of course, he ended up going to Miami. Saban took the Dolphins job on Christmas Day 2004. He lasted two seasons. The rest is history. Saban goes to Alabama, where Coach Bryant made his legend and he replaced Don Shula's son."
