Broken promise: As Franchione searched for coaching stardom, his climb to top fell short
An interesting article on Dennis Franchione. Here is a quote from Tyler Watts: “He just burns too many bridges,” says Watts, the former Alabama quarterback. “At some point, you build a track record. People stop believing what you’re saying. He is not as concerned with the welfare of the players as he is of the welfare of Dennis Franchione.”

Fresno State's McElwain
It appears that Fresno State's McElwain is now being considered as a candidate for Alabama's OC position. It is my understanding he was on the staff at Louisville that spanked Stalling's first Bama team in the Liberty Bowl. Here are a few interesting links:
