Alabama recruit ready to prove he’s total package
“He’s a pro-style quarterback with athletic ability,” said Jamie Newburg, senior recruiting analyst for Scout.com. “He can pretty much run any system. Alabama was looking for a guy who can run and throw, and they got it.”

2008 SEC Helmet Schedule
In 2008 the schedule is more favorable in relation to our SEC opponents and bye weeks before they play us. Here is a list of our SEC opponents:

Arkansas: @Texas the week before us (we play Western KY)
Georgia: @AZ State the week before us (we play Arkansas)
Kentucky: Temple the week before us (we play Georgia)
Ole Miss: BYE the week before us (we have a bye)
Tennessee: MSU the week before us (we play Ole Miss)
LSU: Tulane the week before us (we play Ark St.)
MSU: BYE the week before us (we play LSU)
Auburn: BYE the week before us (we have a bye)

Three teams have a bye before us. On two of those games, we also have a bye. MSU and Kentucky are the only teams that have a considerable advantage, while we have an advantage over Arkansas. Much better than previous years.
