Julio Jones deals with hype, excels for the Tide
So, we're six games into the Alabama's season, and the bye week is ending. What better time than the halfway point to take a look at the performance by one of the Crimson Tide's most hyped recruits? What stands out is what you see. Ask an opponent about guarding University of Alabama receiver Julio Jones, and that's the first impression: He's big. Not just for a freshman, but for anybody. "He causes mismatches on the field with his size," Georgia cornerback Asher Allen said.

Alabama has been here before. Six wins. In October. Optimism pouring down like crimson rain. In each of the previous two seasons, a sixth win before Nov.1 has launched a positive outlook. "See, we don't think about those type of things," cornerback Javier Arenas said. "(The media) brings those type of things up. When I step on the field Saturday, lining up against whoever, I'm not thinking about last year. This year's totally different."
