Relaxed, ready
Even though the University of Alabama football team has achieved its highest national ranking, No. 2, since 1993, an enormous cause for optimism is that there's still a lot of room for improvement. One of those areas is the passing game, which at times has taken a back seat to the outstanding ground game, but the young receiving corps is still finding its way with senior quarterback John Parker Wilson.
McCall more of a battering ram than tight end
Anyone who watches the University of Alabama football team, or has scouted the Crimson Tide, recognizes it and knows exactly what's coming even before the ball is snapped. The 'it' in this case is seeing senior tight end Travis McCall go in motion from right to left, where Alabama prefers to run the football, and stop right behind junior tackle Andre Smith and junior guard Mike Johnson.
